Eat 4 Today – The Commitment. Give yourself a good memory and try it just today.

I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. Just Today. And I’m going to try this for a year to see what happens.

Maybe you’ve been waiting for a better time before you try focusing on a ‘diet.’ Maybe things are so hectic and complicated at your house, there just isn’t time for you to think about yourself too much. Or, it might be your job — projects with deadlines and other projects with overlapping deadlines make it hard justify thinking about what makes a good lunch while you’re at work.

And for something as complicated as a ‘diet’ maybe that makes sense. But these periods of chaos or busy-ness can last a long time. And it’s a strange thing but when you look back on that period, you might not remember much about it at all. Because you spent so much of your time ‘waiting until things calm down.’

Sure, there’s a lot of things you can do to add rocket-fuel to The Commitment. But that stuff isn’t necessary at all. The only thing you have to do is make a commitment to not eat between meals and not take seconds — just today. And I know you can do that, no matter how busy you are.
