Eat 4 Today – The Commitment. Finding strength just today
I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. Just Today. And I’m going to try this for a year to see what happens.
I wish I could know you. Are you in shock, frozen with fear because you have so many changes to make and you’re totally overwhelmed? Are you struggling with a chronic weight/food related illness? Maybe you’ve tried to control your eating, but can’t seem to do it day after day after day? Do you worry that you’ll never be healthy again? Continue reading
E4T – Exercise Blog: Music of Marching Madness
As usual, I’ll be marching around my house for 5 minutes every hour (starting on the half-hour-ish.) It’s been making a big difference to me. Even when I’m not actually doing the walking, I’m not as relaxed — I guess knowing that I’ll be jumping up to walk keeps me from falling into my typical total-rest mode.

Just 4 Today: March 29, 2006
Just 4 Today, I’m going to drink 2 liters of water (which I didn’t do yesterday — I don’t know why), walk 3 miles (which I did). And Just Today, I want to move around in my cubicle as much as possible, rather than sitting there like a lump for hours on end.
My problem is (well one of many) that when I’m at rest, I’m totally at rest. There must be something in between doing nothing and walking._ Maybe tapping my toes?
