I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. Just Today.y And I’m going to try this for a year to see what happens.
As some of you know, I started this project at the end of July last year and it changed my life immediately. So, I kept with it.E And eventually mentioned it on other blogs — telling people about the improvement in my health and the steady weight loss. And those conversations sparked the idea for Eat4Today.com – a blog devoted to the idea of managing our weight and self-help diseases one day at a time.
And out of that came the idea of The Commitment — because it’s easier to talk about an idea if it’s got a handy label.
And The Commitment is 100 days old today!
For me, The Commitment is more than the pledge I make every morning.A It’s become the process of writing these articles every morning (100 mornings!) and keeping up with the comments. And developing other nasty timely reminders about things like fruits/veg and exercise.a Having read those articles that on-line support groups can be very effective tools for helping people maintain weight loss, I’m even more committed to this site — if only for the most selfish of reasons.
I can’t let myself gain that weight back. And I need this site and all of you to help me.m In return, I’ll do anything I can to help you. Please let me know if there is anything you’d like added to this site — links you’d like to see or a regular feature you’d like added.
Also, all registered users can write articles and share their stories — and we’d love to hear yours.

Congrats on the milestone. That’s 100 days, taken day-by-day, but with a group of supporters all doing the same. Very cool and very inspiring.
Agree w/ Manny — It’s amazing what you’ve done here katieb!
Congrats KB.
Thanks Olivia and FamilyMan — it seems like a major accomplishment. I guess because I write my little pieces so early in the day and I’m a little impressed that I haven’t missed since I started.
