Eat 4 Today – The Commitment. Everyday is a new challenge and I’m always (a little) scared that I’ll fail

I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. Just Today. And I’m going to try this for a year to see what happens.

In the old days after being on a ‘diet’ for a few months (and I was never, ever on a ‘diet’ that lasted 9 months) and losing some huge amount of weight. I’d sort of relax. Something in my brain would say, ‘Well, that’s all right now.” And be done with it. E4T Exercise Blog. I’m running on empty!

The E4T Exercise Blog, a relentless reminder to get off the couch and stretch or walk or run-in-place. Just for 5-minutes at a time, in 4 sets. We’re doing it on the hour tonight and we’re ready for the 1st set now.

(and I’m not really running on empty, but I do need to go to Osco to pick up my pills after Survivor)

Update 8 pm: Running to Osco (2nd set)

Update 9:10 pm: What an hour that was! The battery was dead so getting to Osco was actually a project. We’ve got it recharging now. I hope it ‘takes’. Does holding the tools count as exercise?

Update 10:01 pm: Last lap.

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about Chana Dal, a magical food with virtually no Glycemic Index (it’s somewhere between 9 & 11 on the scale). And then I put it out of my mind.: So today is a reminder (for those who are worried about the rate carbohydrates are metabolized) that there is a food that is filling without rocking your blood sugar.

That’s all.
