Getting back in the groove

I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. Just Today.i And I’m going to try this for a year to see what happens.

It’s the first day of my back-to-work routine and I’ve weighed myself & had my fiber supplement & almost a liter of water & coffee & breakfast and poked around a bit on a few other blogs waiting to wake up enough to type. Compared to my vacation schedule where it took until about 11am before I did most of that, this is pretty efficient (maybe I’ll actually get to work this morning?).

Eat4Today Live! meets again at 5:30 today (I’d love it if you could come.) The discussion topics depend on the group but I’d like to talk about strategies for getting through vacations and unpredictable events while keeping your commitment.
Looking back, I did pretty well (especially considering my history of letting go of diets during less structured times.)c And I guess I’m as ready as I’m going to be — it wouldn’t be any easier to go back tomorrow. I’d like to go take a nap, but probably getting dressed would be the better choice.
