Just today, I’m not going to eat between meals, I’m not going to take seconds and I’ll follow the suggestions and use the tools of The Hacker’s Diet to reach and maintain my perfect weight.
A year ago this week when I started this experiment, I told myself that I’d give it a year to see what would happen. And the most surprising thing is that I stuck with it every single day.o I’ve had good days and better days — it’s just not possible to work on weight and nutrition goals and be consistent every single day. But, this idea — the idea of working on just today — has been the most successful weight control experiment I’ve ever tried.
So while I’m not exactly sure what my new affirmation will be (In fact I’m not even sure I’ll settle on a single affirmation for everyday) I do know that I want to continue this project.t I want to continue working on my weight just today. And I want to keep working on this blog, Eat4Today.com because it’s become an important part of my day and commitment.

Hooray KatieBird!!
Congrats on the milestone, katiebird. I remember the Commitment when it began as your sig line at BT. You have been such an inspiration and I like the way you’re drawing from different resources to keep the whole process fresh. I got lost for over an hour the other day in the Hacker’s Diet links. Lots of great info, which you’re breaking down here for everyone to learn/enjoy. Hope you’re doing well on the personal front. Peace
Thanks Manny — I remember adding that signature. I was so scared to open myself up about the whole thing. And it was the conversations that came from it that inspired this blog.
I really appreciate your encouragement.
