Just today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. And I’ll weigh myself & use the tools and guidance from The Hacker’s Diet to help me reach (and keep) my goal.
I was visiting Sir Squishy’s blog, Born Squishy this morning, I just read his FAQ and my brain has exploded (in a good way). His blog is excellent and now it’s opening a whole world of noble diet blogs. He and his friends operate individual blogs, but keep track of their progress in weight-loss/weight-control together by posting their progress in the comments of a weekly post at one of the blogs.
They do this because they know that actively participating in a support group is one of the tools to both losing weight and successfully keeping it off. I’ve been building a set of links to “Diet Blogs” because I crave contact with as many others as I can find who are sharing my diet and nutrition goals. And I’m thrilled that my quest led me to a group that has formalized their relationship.
I can’t wait to get home tonight when I can take the time to visit them.
