Just today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. And I’ll weigh myself & use the tools and guidance from The Hacker’s Diet to help me reach (and keep) my goal.
We’ve got the windows open. It’s a lovely 62 degrees outside and birds are chirping and a light breeze is blowing and I’ve been sitting here dreaming the morning away. Morning after morning all summer it’s been too hot to even think of opening the windows. If I didn’t have to leave for work in a half hour, I’d go for a walk right now.
This is the sort of morning that sets me to dreaming. Thinking about patio blogging and the pleasure of napping on the canvas rocking chair we’ve got out there. And what fun it would be to drift around visiting blogs like Who’s Yo Mama? (the current focus of the eMoms BlogJolt project) in between my dreams.
This has been a slow quiet summer here at Eat4Today and it’s sort of fit my mood. I’ve posted my regular features (with a few days off) but fighting the heat sapped some of my energy for posting extra features. With the shift in the weather that’s going to change. I’ve got ideas for energizing our discussions with new features and articles and bringing new people to our group. And I hope to find ways to bring some of our old friends back.
