Blog Hopping on a Thursday Night
I found a fun “About” Page at Your Elegant Bed and Bath. From top to bottom, it’s a hoot. I love the date of the post (impossible), the author’s relationship with her cat, the subject assigned the “About” page and (of course) any list of hobbies that includes lots of reading pleases the librarian in me . . . .
At Live Longer, Live Better, Keven has a good idea or goal. The post, Making exercise non-optional he says, “To our ancient ancestors, exercise was in fact, non-optional.” And he goes on to list 5 ways to fake ourselves out and end up getting some exercise everyday. Stop by and take a look — one of his ideas could work for you!
Sir Squishy is back! I stopped by Born Squishy today and there was a new post — the first since the beginning of October. I was starting to fear that he was gone forever, and was thrilled to see yesterday’s post. Well the excitement didn’t stop there — tonight he’s got 3 more posts — including some information about the much anticipated film, Fast Food Nation.[MORE]
Diet Detective has an incredible post — What Makes it Difficult to Eat Healthfully?. The results of polling 300 people aren’t any real surprise, but it’s interesting to see the seven issues validated by statistics (although I don’t know how he found the 300 he asked — if they were random or self-selecting.)
Wendy, at eMoms at Home Blog has a page filled with interesting posts. Two that meant a lot to me were, Can Tiny Interactions have Big Consequences in your Business? (which actually inspired a behavior change in me and improved the quality of the meetings I’ve been managing this week.) and Getting to “Ah-Ha” Moments (We’re always on the look-out for “Ah-Ha” Moments around here!)
And finally, the Great Liz had an anniversary this week — the first birthday of her blog (683 Comments!!) — congratulations, Liz! — Also, don’t miss her Net Neutrality Page, she posts new articles to it everyday. If you have any questions about the Net Neutrality issue, it’s a fanatastic resource.
