November 30, 2006 — Just 4 Today

Just 4 Today logoJust 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber supplement twice (I’ve drunk it once.), drink 2 liters of water (I’ve drunk 1/3 ), weigh myself (done), and NOT eat between meals and NOT take seconds.

What are you going to do today?

(It doesn’t have to be food related — it can be anything you’ve been slacking-off)

I dropped my walking goal for the day.  We’re supposedly getting “the worst storm ever” starting sometime this morning.  And I think it’s unlikely that I’ll try to walk if that happens.

I’m still trying to work out a solution to my bad-weather-exercise needs.  Days like today are bad enough.  But what happens if we actually get snowed in?  How do people get the exercise they need during very bad weather?

My Daily Affirmation

Just today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. And I’ll weigh myself and use the tools of The Hacker’s Diet to help me reach (and keep) my goals. And I’m going to do this with renewed focus through the first of the year.

What are you going to do today?

But WAIT!

The Weekly Wednesday Weigh-In

32 Day’s to go….

I feel like Tom Arnold — I had this goal of losing weight by New Years Eve and I’m just not getting there like I wanted. But, everytime I think about Tom Arnold’s book, I think — “Ah, but how much would you have GAINED if you weren’t so focused on your weight these last 6 years?” It’s Cold Comfort to be sure. But, true.

How did this week go for you?

My Daily Affirmation

Just today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. And I’ll weigh myself and use the tools of The Hacker’s Diet to help me reach (and keep) my goals. And I’m going to do this with renewed focus through the first of the year.
