November 15, 2006 — Just 4 Today. The Weekly Wednesday Weigh-In Edition!

Just 4 Today logoJust 4 today, I’ll walk 3 miles (in the hallway), drink my fiber supplement twice (I’ve drunk it once) & drink 2 liters of water (I’ve drunk 1/3)…..[There's More -- This is the Weekly Wednesday Weigh In, After all!]

46 Days ’till New Year’s Eve . . . . There’s still time!

That 2 pounds that’s been coming on and off is back today. But, I think that’s the cost of my wild Tuesday last week. It took until Sunday before I felt like a regular person again and I think it through me off for most of the week.

Also (to be perfectly honest) I’m still struggling with the Halloween candy issue. Yesterday was a nearly perfect day until I got home and couldn’t keep my hand (or worse, my mouth) out of the candy jar. I think this is the last year we let the candy hang around after Halloween. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m not a garbage can. If the only reason for keeping the candy is so it doesn’t go to waste, then we might as well throw it away. The only waist it goes to is mine! Mister doesn’t eat candy at all.

What are you going to do today? And how did you do this week?

    Good morning KB.

J4T I’ll drink 2 liters of water and I’ll look out my window and think it rained last night and I can’t do the lawn. :)

I say throw the candy away. It would be so much easier to just get rid of it and not have to worry about it.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Hi FM — It’s toast. If someone doesn’t finish it off while I’m at work today, it’s going in the bottom of the trash can.
They keep telling us that this storm that’s coming isn’t snow — but it’s really acting like snow (whatever that means)

I’ll trade you. We’re under a tornado watch at the moment, but everything seems pretty calm right now.

I think the bottom of the trash can is a good idea. Why give yourself something to worry about when you don’t have to.

Wow, tornado watches in November. I’d hate to be going through that now. Do you get many Tornado watches & warnings in your part of the world?

Yep we do, but not as many as in tornado alley. I’ve been watching the radar and it looks like the worst is gone past us and is on the eastern part of the state. Watching the news it looks like they’ve already had 2 or 3 touch downs.

What a depressing start to Thanksgiving week. I hope the touchdowns didn’t cause too much injury.

    Stay safe.

    Hi kb and FM!

Finallly getting back to my routine after last week’s excitement…I did 4 miles this morning (ran the first 3/4 mile), and I’m heading out to run 1 more as soon as CBtE gets home, so he can come with me.

I weigh the same thing I did 2 weeks ago. I definitely need to be more consistent about my walking than I have been in the last week.

Hi CabinGirl — I’m glad that you’re back in a routine — I am too (crossing fingers). This is the season when time moves fast. And I’m determined to make that work for me, not against me. I’m so glad that we set up this weekly check-in day. Can you believe it’s been a whole week since the election! (The BEST week in a long, long while!)
