Just 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (once!!!), drink 2 liters of water (1/3 so far), walk 3 miles (I did over 4 miles yesterday: 3415), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.
Also, I found out yesterday that Subway sells bags of sliced apples! And we’ve got a Subway just a block from my office. So, I think I’ll be adding that to my afternoon routine.

Gorgeous morning ! I walked to work, 3.5 miles, which took a little under an hour– managed to miss most of the traffic lights.
I have a very positive feeling about this week, partly because even though it sort of seemed like I hadn’t done the best job of staying on track this weekend, what with a pretty long roundtrip airplane flight, being out of town in general, and having to work with other people’s eating schedules, somehow I managed to drop a pound.
Upon reflection, though, I realized that I had eaten mostly fruit and vegetables, mostly raw or steamed, so I guess the fairly modest dessert servings weren’t that extravagant.
Now if I could just get my pedometer working– I can’t find the instruction sheet and have totally forgotten how to set it !
