September 25, 2007 — Just 4 Today

Just 4 Today I'llJust 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber once (it’ll have to be later today — I overslept and I’m missing it this morning), drink 2 liters of water, walk my heel hurts and I’m going to work on stretching exercises until it feels normal again, NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.

I’ve known too many people who’ve pushed past foot pain until they’ve done something nearly irreversible.  And I CANNOT afford to let that happen. Right now, the heel thing is sort of like a nagging twinge.  Maybe I’m wearing the wrong shoes?

Today’ll be more of the super-crazy-busy week.  But, please stop by.  I’ll try to peek in now and then.

    KB, could you ride a bicycle instead of walking? It might be easier on your foot but still good exercise. You should still do the stretching though.

    J4T I’ll drink my water (halfway there), take my fiber (done), try to get a walk in (if I’m not scraping or painting), and get some work done here.

    Company stock is getting hammered, but I just have to ignore it for a while (owning 1000 shares makes that difficult). It will come back up eventually.

    I made black beans & rice for lunch in the crockpot. It smelled great, but tasted a little bland. I probably could have put a little salt in it. The half-can of whole kernel corn I threw in added an interesting crunch though.
