September 24, 2007 — Just 4 Today

Just 4 Today I'llJust 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (done once!), drink 2 liters of water (about 1/2), walk 5 miles (yesterday — 1.77), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.

You’d think I’d walk MORE on weekends — but it doesn’t seem to work out like that.  I’m glad to get back to my routines today.

September 23, 2007 — Just 4 Today (A New Week)

Just 4 Today I'llJust 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (done once!), drink 2 liters of water (about 1/2), walk 5 miles (yesterday — 2.04), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.

Yesterday was mostly a day of rest.  I slept until after 10 a.m. went out for a meeting.  And took a 2 hour nap in the afternoon!  In fact, I’m not sure I ever really woke up.

Today, I’ve got to do some work-work and errand-work.  But the work-work will be on the computer, so I’m hoping to poke my head in here now and then throughout the day.

September 21, 2007 — Just 4 Today (Friday!!)

Just 4 Today I'llJust 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (done once!), drink 2 liters of water (about 1/2), walk 5 miles (yesterday — 6.94), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.

As you might remember, I’m often a little nervous about weekends.  But after this — The Longest Week — I’m more than ready for the puny challenge of the next 2 days!  ALSO, I’ve figured out that if I walk 6-9 miles a day — I can pretty much eat what I want and I’ll still be in control.  And actually, what I want to eat these days just isn’t that bad.

Still, the thing to remember (I’m telling myself) is to make goals for Today — Just Today.
