Just 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (done once!), drink 2 liters of water (about 1/2), walk 5 miles (yesterday — 5.19 — 1/2 of that with kansas!), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.
Well, it was actually impossible to walk yesterday until well after noon.
Can we try again? Is today good for you? We could walk at noon-ish — each in our own time?
What are you going to do today?

Morning KB.
J4T I’ll drink 2 liters of water, and since I was up most of the night, I think I’ll nap a good bit today.
Hope everyone has a good day and gets their walking in.
5 miles? Rock on! In honor of that, I’m going to walk today. Will post miles later or tomorrow.
Have a healthy day, everyone!
I like your photo, KB!
Today, plenty o’ water but no walking.
Two pieces of fried chicken went down hard at 6 a.m. this morning. Maybe they were afraid of the diet coke that chased them. It was dark while I filled the bird feeders, but with the floodlights beaming, I ripped out the last of the the eggplant and tomato stalks, yanked out the marigolds that protected them, picked the never-ending supply of okra, and picked my sweetie many flowers, including two yellow roses on a confused rose bush. As the sun rose behind the clouds, I depooped the goldfish pond and replanted several water plants. Finely, I collapsed inside and dealt out emails in my stink until Sydney, my cockateil, bit me. “Take a shower,” he commanded. I did so, and then ate breakfast at 11 a.m. I chopped a half onion, five mushrooms, a tablespoon of garlic, an ounce of zucchini, a pepper some snow peas, and a mass of bok choi into the frying pan with olive oil. Eventually, three organic eggs held the mass together. Sea salt sprinkled over the mass, it looked like hell, but it tasted like heaven. Together with some homemade bread and a cup of coffee (don’t even ask how much sugar), I ate breakfast with Sydney. It was noon. I edited 20,000 words of a friend’s novel for the remainder of the day and had a double helping of oatmeal with honey and freshly-ground flax seed for dinner chased down by a diet coke (no caffeine). All is right with the world, but the goldfish poop too much.
Hi everyone. Rick, I LOVE hearing about your day. We eat a lot of oatmeal here too.
Tried to get in as much walking at work as possible. Taking separate pieces of paper to and from various offices, etc. It’s a pretty long hall and going up and down it 50 times a day does add up.
Tomorrow I’m walking to my mammogram and pap smear appointments and then to the dentist. That ought to be good for at least 3-4 miles.
Went to a buffet with lots of vegetable choices. Did pretty good, but really not enough exercise lately !
