Just 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (done once), drink 2 liters of water (I’ve drunk about 1/2 liter), walk 5 miles (yesterday 3.26), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.
As you know, my rules are meant to be something I can do no matter how confusing my life might get. And mostly it works. Still, confusion means the routine is broken. And JUST-4-TODAY, I’m going to remember that the little things, like taking that fiber twice a day, make a huge difference.
One of the side-effects to taking the fiber in the afternoon is that the ritual distracts me from nibbling on something stupid (like cheese) while I wait for dinner. I fill the little water-shaker & measure out the fiber & shake it & drink it & refill/do-it-again & rinse out the water-shaker & start peeing AND the next thing I know dinner is ready. It’s astonishing.
