KB,

Congrats on the retirement. I also wanted to thank you for turning me on to the Hacker's Diet. What a find!

I understand your concern about fearing staying home and reading all day. I'm not retired, but as a teacher, I do have summers off, and it is challenging. I have days, like yesterday, where I spend all day online, or reading books. I'm not even really interested in TV. What I try to do is schedule something reasonably early several times a week, like I have to pull weeds at 9:30 or something. I try to get out every day, even if it's just for a walk. And I live near a pool, so I'll often take a short swim early just because it gets me motivated around the house. That's been helping me so far this summer. Hope that helps.

Good morning KB.

Congrats again on the retirement. I don't have any suggestions as of yet. Most would say now is the time to really get into your hobbies. I've never been that much of a hobby person, so I wouldn't know about that. I guess the biggest thing though is not to let yourself get bored.

J4T I'll drink 2 liters of water and I'm not really sure what I'll be doing today. The rels that said they would be here last week, now say they'll be here today. I think they're bringing some of their grandchildren with them, so there should be more than enough excitement around here.

Hope everyone has a good day today.
