Just today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. And I’ll weigh myself and use Nutribase and the tools of The Hacker’s Diet to help me reach (and keep) my goals.
And Just 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice, drink 2 liters of water , walk 5 miles,
NOT eat between meals &
NOT take seconds.
I think things are coming together into a routine. One of my plans was to help my parents for a few hours every day (or weekday at least) doing anything they might want.
My dad and I have been working on a computer project off and on for over 20 years. But, with me working full time (in fact he was still working full time back when we began it) and the routine emergencies of life — we have a spurt of progress and then have to set it aside for months or even years.
And I could be helpful with projects around the house. Or just company on a lazy day. Whatever — there’s almost always something, isn’t there? But they weren’t really into the idea of me coming every day — it seemed excessive to them. And four days went by where I didn’t visit.
Well. When I showed up yesterday my dad told me that he WOULD like me to come everyday!! It seems he makes more progress on his goals if he knows I’m going to show up to discuss them. Ain’t that the truth – maybe now we’ll see something happen!
