Just today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. And I’ll weigh myself and use Nutribase and the tools of The Hacker’s Diet to help me reach (and keep) my goals.
And Just 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (done once), drink 2 liters of water (I’ve drunk about 1/2 liter), walk 5 miles (yesterday, 5), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.
I’ve been sorting books and papers and uncovering so real gems along the way. You’d think that would be a good thing. But, I find myself sitting in a corner on the floor reading. Which is exactly how I used to get out of cleaning my room when I was a kid. You’d think I might have progressed in 50 years. You’d be wrong, I guess.
What I should be doing is keeping a notebook with me every minute so that as I read I can keep track of the good stuff. My dad has been sending me magazines and articles (packed with thrilling health news) for years and this would be the perfect time to share it with you.
Will I? That’s my challenge for the week. What about you?

I’ve got stuff to read too, for work! So J4T I’ll deal with it, drink my water, take my fiber, and get a walk in.
Long long ago, I used to cut out the interesting bits of magazines & stick them in a binder for future reference. But computer stuff gets stale pretty quick, so I’m not sure it’s even worth doing that anymore.
Hi FAR, Please don’t get me started about stale computer news. My father has 2 rooms filled with computer magazines that he’s always intended to sort through for valuable information.
NOW.
Some of that would be algorithms that probably would still have some value. But some of it is just reviews of the latest/speediest hard drive. Or something.
Helping him to deal with all that cr@p is one of my projects for this summer.
We’ve got stormy weather here too. But it’s keeping the temps below 80 so I’m happy…

I used to save the computer mags, but they got so outdated so fast I stopped doing that awhile back.
J4T I’ll drink 2 liters of water and now that the relatives are gone, I’ll start the cycle of cleaning the house again. Oh joy!

I’m a little late so it’s more of what I did than what I will do.
Just4today I walked on my treadmill for 20 minutes, I ate healthy meals and no junk.
I will allow myself 3 meals and one snack. My snack was two pieces of homemade whole wheat bread toasted and spread with Smucker’s Simply Fruit, blackberry.
I drank 3 large glasses of water and have one more to go. Therefore I will spend most of the night exercising by getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom and back.
I will also not eat another bite after 6 pm.
