Just today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. And I’ll weigh myself and use Nutribase and the tools of The Hacker’s Diet to help me reach (and keep) my goals.
And Just 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (done once), drink 2 liters of water (I’ve drunk about 1/2 liter), walk 5 miles (yesterday, 5.31), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.
In another unscheduled break, I’ve missed a visit from Bombshell. And I miss her dreadfully! I think I missed catdog at the last one. (shaking my head) I should have expected it — but I’ve never made such a big change in my life and had no idea how the upheaval would affect me. It turns out that pressure to “write something” before work was a critical aspect to my blogging.
I’ve continued to be good about walking and NOT eating between meals (I ALMOST went out for ice cream last night though)
I’ve been invited to write health care posts at a political blog though — and that woke me up. I can’t justify writing for another blog if I’m not doing it hear….. Can I?
Hear here!
So you had pressure to write something before “work” — is there something you could substitute for work that would, um, work? Maybe devote the hours of [awake] to [awake+1 hr] to breakfast and (optionally) getting dressed, and [awake+1 hr] to [awake+2-3 hrs] to writing something?
Maybe — I’ve been thinking along those lines too. One of the problems has been irregular sleeping so I sleep later in the morning. AND then mister has been getting up at the same time. HE wakes up ready to talk — and I’m not about to complain about that. I just have to learn to write when he’s on his mom’s side of the house. Or something….
Or rewrite how I post — doing the goals as a timed post in the evening and do the updates as comments during the day.
Evenings seem to be my best writing time. Since I’m adapting my work habit maybe I should make a dramatic change.
I’ve been delinquent at writing on the political site too….
