Just today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. And I’ll weigh myself and use Nutribase and the tools of The Hacker’s Diet to help me reach (and keep) my goals.
Good morning from sunny Phoenix. It is hard to believe, but living in the desert makes a rainy day a “big event.”
I have done pretty good the past 2 days, but still not getting enough fluids. My work schedule will have me up and out of the house early for the next 2 days. Therefore, I will have to work hard to get at least 30 minutes of running.
Just 4 Today: I will keep to my eating plan, run for 30 hour, do some hand weights, drink 2 liters of water; and limit my breads to one high fiber whole grain sugar free muffin.
A 30-hour run? That’s impressive!
J4T I’ll drink my water & get a walk in. Probably on the treadmills; the “partly sunny” forecast didn’t turn out that way.
Well I did pretty good yesterday. Ate more breads than I intended, but at least they were all whole grain.
Just 4 Today I will: keep to my eating plan, keep my eating Journal, run for 30 minutes and do some hand weights, drink 2 liters of water (I hope!); and limit my breads to one whole grain slice.
Have to get on the road. Did not get the time to run yesterday, but had a fun dinner with some colleagues. Hope to get a run in later today.

I buy Farro Past. It is the best whole wheat pasta I have found, but it is pricey.

Went to a great conference yesterday about healthy aging, which is my passion. The speaker who spoke on diet presented the findings from the most rigorous clinical trials.
She said research has shown that the three most effective weight loss strategies are: (1) Eating smaller portions. (2) Eating out less. (3) Not drinking your sugar. Can you believe that 1 can of soda has about 8 teaspoons of sugar!
Just 4 Today I will: keep to my eating plan, keep my eating Journal, walk for 30 minutes , drink 2 liters of water/green tea; and limit grains to a slices of whole grain beads.
