Monday watching the data fly by

I’m just stopping in to let you know that I’ve been trying to get myself up to speed again on MYSQL – a database management program.  The queries used to fly out of my fingers almost without thought.  But, the two years away have set me back pretty dramatically.

ANYWAY …. I’ve made a lot of progress but, I’m still not there. I keep saying, “I just want to try one more thing” But, it’s amazing how many times you can say that before you run out of things to try.

  2. :) I did make it sound mysterious, didn’t I?  I’m really just trying to add a calendar of events on a website & make it so the person with the events can enter them herself in a form.  But, it’s been so long since I’ve done database programming, I’m having to actually read the manuals!
