Sunday, happiness is a full tummy

Just4Today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds.  AND – I’ll take my fiber supplement, walk at least 3 miles & not eat more than 6 teaspoons of sugar.  I’m sure there’s more but, I’m to anxious to get out to the porch to think about it now.

Saturday, Reading between the lines

Just4Today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds.  And I’ll limit my sugars to 6 teaspoons, walk at least 3 miles & take my fiber supplement.

I just finished The Road by, Cormac McCarthy.  It was a grim (and happily short) book that ended exactly as I expected.  Maybe it’ll hit me later but, it hasn’t hit me as hard as I expected.  If I had written this book, it would have been very different (Ha! I would NEVER have written this book!!!) Anyway, I would have had a parallel group walking.  With tension between the groups.  As they walked together-but-separately across the country.

I just can’t believe that the father and son could live the way they did.  It would have killed me.

On a lighter note, one of my all time favorite movies, The Boyfriend School is on TV.  The dialog, acting, editing & setting of this film is flawless.  Seriously, watch it if you have the chance.

Friday, Gadding about

Just 4 Today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds.  And I’ll drink 2 liters of water, limit sugar to 6 tsp, take my fiber supplement and walk at least 3 miles.

I love this blog and I love all of you.  I’m going to take an early morning walk and I’ll be back in a little while!

Wednesday, Am I forgetting something?

Well, I guess SO!!

Still, Just4Today I’m not going to eat between meals & I’m not going to take seconds.  I’ll drink 2 liters of water, take my fiber supplement, walk at least 3 miles and limit my added sugars to 6 teaspoons.

I’m off in a few minutes to help my parents out for a couple of hours but, I WILL walk this afternoon.

Tuesday, taking care of my dirty laundry

– I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds.  I’ll drink 2 liters of water, take my fiber supplement, walk at least 3 miles, eat no more than 6 teaspoons of added sugar AND get my laundry done!

That’s what I’m saying now.

As I type this I’m looking out the window at the trash men and wondering about our next door neighbor.  In 3 years she has never, ever put out trash.  Is she taking it to some dumpster in small bags?  Or is it just piling up in her family room?

Kind of like my laundry.
