I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. AND I’ll limit added sugars to 6 teaspoons (24 grams) – walk at least 3 miles – take my fiber supplement & drink 2 liters of water.
In the wake of the grand new health care legislation I took some time off the Internet. And I’m not sure I’ll be going back to those political blogs anymore.

Wise woman, you–to avoid those political blogs if you can–news and politics have been shown to raise blood pressure!
Hi Conda – I got sucked into it again because of my interest in health care reform. But, I don’t think it was worth the effort in any way.
I think I’m going to try focusing on my own little world and interests - Which includes the discussions on this & my friends blogs.
I think paying attention to current events leads to weight gain ( not just high blood pressure) as we have to rely more on fattening comfort foods
