100 calories a day — The E4T Exercise Blog difference

If you can walk, you can walk for 5 minutes — you don’t even have to leave the house! You can walk around the living room or hallway during a commercial break. Or hop, or stretch (with some vigor.) Just get up and move for 5 minutes every hour. And at the end of the evening (after for exercise breaks) you’ll have burned just about 100 calories!

It’s hard to believe, but if you can walk a mile in 20 minutes you’ll burn just about that many calories with this evening’s Exercise Blog. Are you interested?

7:08 p.m. (first set) Ready?

8:48 p.m. (third set) I’m ready to go, you?

9:32 p.m. (fourth set) — This LOST finale is really something.h But I’m getting my walking done during the breaks.

Crack! Just when I thought my day was done — the E4T Exercise Blog

The sound of a whip cracking snapped in my brain. And I jumped up to post this little note quickly before I take my first walking break of the evening.

Have you heard about the E4T Exercise Blog? The idea is that we spend 5 minutes every hour getting some exercise. We get up from the computer or the couch and walk or hop or stretch. It keeps our hearts pumping just a little better than they’d do on their own.

And that makes us a little happier.

6:30 p.m. — First set. I’m ready, are you?

UPDATE — 7:21 p.m. — I’m dancing with Taylor Hicks! (shiver)

Update — 9:30 (I was so excited by American Idol, I lost a whole hour) – Well, I’m walking now!
