June 6, 2006 — Just 4 Today

I did pretty well yesterday, I resisted the coffee shop and took my fiber supplement twice and drank all my water.n I could have walked a little more. . . But mostly, I did pretty well.

Just today, I’ll take my fiber supplement twice (I’ve taken it once), drink 2 liters of water (I drank 1/2 a liter with the fiber supplement), walk 3 miles and see Nancy Pickard at the Argentine Branch of the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library.
She’ll be at two events and I’m hoping to make it to at least one of them!

Both events are free and open to the public, if you’re anywhere near Kansas City today and you’d like to meet an award winning mystery author and ME!

And for a little bit of help, I’m going to take the advice of my own advertisement and refer to the Seven Steps on the Writer’s Path : The Journey from Frustration to Fulfillment, by Nancy Pickard. Not just for writers, I can tell you from personal experience that the guidelines in this book work for projects that are creative in any way.

I promise — I’m not going to sneak ads into this room. But there are two things that make this particular book special. First the author is a regular here and I’m hoping she’ll give us some tips if we ask nicely. Second, I want us to develop a concept of steps for the members of this site. Continue reading
